BuildPlanTools is a small, independent project focused on one simple idea: make home-project math easier to understand and use.

What we build

Our calculators turn common measurements into practical estimates for materials and planning. We aim to show the assumptions and basic method so users can understand where a number comes from.

What we don't do

Our calculators are not engineering plans, professional quotes or a replacement for manufacturer instructions, building codes or qualified professionals. Results should be checked against the specific product and project conditions.

Our approach

We prefer a smaller set of useful tools over a large collection of near-duplicate pages. Each tool should solve a real task and explain enough of the underlying calculation to be useful on its own.
