How to get a better estimate
Measure carefully, keep units consistent and use the product-specific coverage or density whenever it is available. For irregular projects, divide the area into smaller sections and add the results. Finally, compare the calculated quantity with supplier, manufacturer and project requirements before purchasing.

Choose a calculator by project
Concrete: Use the Concrete Calculator for slabs and pads, then read the Concrete Slab Calculator guide or how much concrete you need.
Landscape materials: Use the Gravel Calculator for driveways, paths and beds, or the Mulch Calculator for landscape beds.
Interior projects: Use the Paint Calculator for wall coverage, the Flooring Calculator for boxes and waste, and the Square Footage Calculator as the area starting point.
